Ahamada Smis, the Comorian rapper based in Marseille, got his first break thanks to the support of local Marseille hip hop collective 3ème Œil. Having featured on various compilations, he created his own label, Colombe Records, and released his debut album Où va ce monde followed by Être in 2010. His sound is a mix of cultures and influences, featuring acoustic guitars, African rhythms, bossa nova and Eastern melodies. Ahamada Smis is a talented wordsmith who is committed to the positive power of cultural diversity and social justice.
